Council convene to an In Camera discussion sat 2:01 pm. to discuss matters of potential litigation regarding property at 200 Exmouth Street, and personnel matters.

Council adjourn the In-Camera session of Council at 4:20 and reconvene the regular session of Council at 5:00 pm.

the property standards complaint for 714 Ernest Street, along with the attached pictures be forwarded to the Property Standards Officer, directing the Officer to do whatever enforcement is required to meet the compliance requirements, and report to Council.

Council receive and file the Help Save Eyecare Initiative Correspondence.

Council supports the province of Ontario and Ontario Optometrists to negotiate a fee resolution to ensure no reduction in service to residents.

the Waste Collection Contract be forwarded to the upcoming Finance Committee for further consideration.

staff forward the e-mail from Kelsey Edwards to the appropriate County staff to review concerns about crosswalks and the caution light on Michigan Avenue at St. Clair Street, and to S/Sgt Stuart to review concerns about speeding in the Village and; furthermore, THAT staff report back as a follow up to the Existing Pedestrian Crosswalks report on how to expedite compliance with crosswalk standards through grinding or painting over of non-compliant pavement markings or upgrading crosswalk signage and pavement markings of non-compliant crossings to reduce liability and safety concerns.

the planned Bluewater Borderfest Concert planned October 1, 2, 2021 be declared a Community Festival/Event and endorsed.

the Village communicate the bussing concerns brought forward to the Board of Education Trustees for Sarnia and Point Edward, and THAT the CAO follow-up with Sarnia Transit to discuss bussing options.

the CAO be authorized to educate residents on Point Edward's Sign By-Law through social media, and THAT the educational information run for 10 days before enforcement of the by-law.

the CAO prepare a report with possible recommendations that Point Edward could follow in regards to meeting COVID-19 vaccination requirements.

By-Law Number 30 of 2021, being a By-Law to provide an Amendment to the Zoning By-Law with the amended clerical error, and excluding the micro brewery reference be READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD TIME and FINALLY PASSED this 24th day of August, 2021.
